Prospective Graduate Students
Dr. Neel will be looking to accept a new graduate student this cycle (Fall 2026). Thank you for your interest in applying to the lab!
Because of University funding constraints, for this application cycle, she will only be able to serve as primary supervisor for students who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents. To be fair to all applicants, Dr. Neel will not be reviewing applicant materials or meeting with students ahead of the application deadline. She will be looking for graduate students who have clearly articulated in their application materials the fit of their research interests for her research expertise and interests (see the Research and Publications pages of this website). The strongest applications will clearly show how the student’s research, work, school, and/or leadership experience have prepared them well for a PhD program in Social Psychology. If you are interested to work with Dr. Neel, please clearly identify her in your application to the department. |
Prospective Undergraduate Research Assistants
Priority is given to students with a strong academic record who are interested in pursuing a degree in psychology or a related field. We value equity and compensating students for their time. Thus, we typically offer undergraduate research opportunities through work-study, Research Opportunity Program (ROP) or an Individual Project in the lab. If you wish for more information, please contact [email protected].
